It sure is not *keeps optimism aside* Hard times! when you read that, u had something on your mind, ain't it?  It isn't the same for everyone.. and that eventually makes us unable to define the Hard times, for one thing is certain, when we goes through a rough patch it makes us want to curl up and detach ourself from the outer world. The split second visit to heaven !! Everything was a chaos .. my room.. my bed.. my wardrobe  and mom was yelling "Take ur brush.. You need to brush even when you are with ur friends , ain't it?" The sarcasm ! There was a reason . I have never been to a trip without my parents in the past twenty years.. well, since she gave birth to me and now out of nowhere I'm going on a trip with my friends and to a theme park and I said "I'm a grown up! and I can take care of myself". Enough said . she has been complaining since morning and now I'm all set to leave. Dad calls up from downstairs to inform me that it was the 'n'th five minutes i have been saying  and the bus was waiting. I was all excited and kissed amma goodbye. she hugged me and said  " stay safe annnd be back soon !" Don't imagine much. I was going to Bangalore which is like a 300 kms away from home and yeah, what's home without a bit of drama? finally, I struggle...

The Whatsoever's Day Back then, there was a time when Indians where known for their values and yes, for their savings.  Unlike the mutual funds and stock markets which makes your own hard earned money volatile , we, Indians were known for putting aside a part of our salary earned that no matter how hard the situation is we were able to manage it pretty well from the savings.  And then, it happened! The East India company they came in and lured us. They were astonished about one thing out of the million and  they found  the very reason behind the India having a rich heritage.  Yes, The savings!  As cliche as it sounds, they wanted to break this tradition of ours and hence came in the culture of celebrating mother's day,  father's day, Valentine's day, fools day, friendship day, sibling's day, husband's day, wife's day, this day and that day. We were lured into the culture and in no track of time drowned in it. 'What's the big deal in celebratin...

The Inter-wined Acoustic clones  It was a long day.. and tiresome too !! I had a complete day of classes and a bunch of lectures to attend.. and my head started to hurt. I craved for a cup of coffee .. hot, steamy, strong in that little tumblers that were served in the college canteen.. that smell..umm yum !! I closed my eyes to imagine the feel of that dusky coffee that i'll be having in a coupling of minutes .. that froth.. that little stainless steel tumbler.. that extra sugar.. that stirrer..that heat..that smell..that taste of the first sip..that cofffeeeeee.. and Snap.. the lecturer shouted at his highest pitch as if he was in a reality show .."and that's all about acoustics today!! u can ask ur doubts in my free hour !" and left the hall. It felt like the coffee that I was virtually about to drink burnt my tongue with his 'high decibel voice'.. that was what I heard in the whole class. I rushed amidst the crowd to the canteen to just see almost the...

The blogging spree

The blogging spree!  Hello everybody! I am Preethi sriram, from the 'orthodox' south indian family!  I'm this type of girl you'll find laughing the loudest with a group of people for a moment and immersed in the fathom of thoughts,  the moment later. Im in my early twenties trying to figure out what life has in store and looking forward for the journey amidst all the surprises and shocks. well, I love interacting with a lot of people! I'm this type you'll term as a 'talkative!'  That has a reason behind it!  My parents, both of them work and they decided it's the best to take care of a single child, who already speak like 'five'. This digital world kept them all busY.  And I eventually got bored of the 'imaginary friends', 'Barbie dolls', 'kitchen sets', 'cars and trucks' and of the 'baby sitter' too! And my companion was my imagination and my game was the fantasy!   And that i became ...
